Anyone know about Rudy Project?

Slightly related to the "Accedent" thread, I have been looking around for some more practical shooting glasses. Since I need Rx lenses, in high perscriptions, this limits the possibilities a bit.
Using ordinary glasses does work, but it's not really optimal, they are not designed to withstand much, and if some accident should happen I'd like better protection. Also, it's the only pair I have, and if something should happen to them I'm pretty much blind until I can get a spare. Without glasses, it's not only illegal but virtually impossible for me to drive anywhere to get help, not to mention to work or anything else useful.
Contact lenses or eye surgery is of course an option, but since I'm on the higher end of corrective lenses I'm not sure how good they would be, so that's not what I'm looking for right now. (I used to have contact lenses years ago, but had to give them up.)
So I have been looking around for a good solution, and I ran across Rudy Project Exception. A Swedish IPSC competitor recommends them, and they look like something I could use for both shooting, fishing(they offer polaroids!), other sports, and even as a spare for my own glasses, using just the corrective lenses.
Anyone know anything about them, good or bad? I allready know that the price is pretty bad, but if I can use them for all sports, as well as fishing, and as a spare for my ordinary glasses, I'd get a lot of use out of them.
