Survival Sheath Chest Holster Review

Well, it finally arrived (It took about 7 months). It certainly doesn't have a retention problem, even w.o. an actual retention device -- frankly, something like a Black hawk serpa would be better. To draw the gun, you either have to use two hands (one on the holster, one on the gun) or cinch the straps very tight, and set the retention screws as loose as possible.

It is well made, and w. a G29, fairly comfortable -- I still would like a chest holster that puts the weight on both shoulders -- it's purely mental, but I keep wanting to hitch up one shoulder -- that may change over time.

It does stay well out of the way, and doesn't interfere w. casting, etc. (I bought it mainly for fishing, and wearing under coveralls/overalls...

I think I might try to have a chest harness
