need help with reviews

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

need help with reviews

Post by Precision »

Hi guys,

First off if the mods don't think this is appropriate, take it down and let me know.

I am managing a brand of optics on Amazon. We are rolling out their products currently. We are bringing 4 optics to Amazon each month for the near future. They have some of their existing line with poorly made listings that have been deactivated by Amazon. We are reactivating those, others will be new launch items, which will have better listings, as we built them. They still won't be superb as Amazon won't allow that until a certain volume of sales has happened. Anyway...

The brand is Swampfox.

We have not ironed out the details on the discount, but it will be significant. I will update that in a week or so.
Amazon is currently being turds on new things and will not allow us to sell them Prime, so slow process merchant fulfilled will be what we have over the next unknown period of time.

The way Amazon works, rank is calculated by sales, no sales = no rank = no sales. So we are boosting rank by doing promo sales. Also, no reviews drops down page listing, so we are doing promo sales to generate reviews. On amazon, it has to be a sale to count for rank and to do a review, thus discounted sales to people I know and like.

If you do participate, part of the agreement is to provide a 4 or 5 star review of at least 100 words on Amazon within 14 days of receipt of the product. They should be truthful, but also focus on the good. If there are any issues, let me know on here and through Amazon and we will get them fixed. You could even do a 2 or 3 star review in that situation, then once fixed discuss the customer service and up the rating.

I really think Swampfox has some quality products, especially considering their MSRP. At the prices I am attempting to negotiate, they should be a screaming deal.

Anyone interested?

So, I’m assuming these are ChiCom optics, given the prices?

What do you want them tested on?

they are chi com optics. American Company on the sales end, but a chinese factory.

I am simply wanting to have people I know get them for cheap and write a review. It does not need to be a complete work up or anything, the standard Amazon type review.
They shipped on time, It arrived in nice packaging, It went on my (insert rifle or pistol here) easily. Zeroing was fairly simple. I like the way the battery is installed and does not need removal of the scope for changing batteries. I did a box test and it was within shooter error of being correct.

Something like that. No need to destruction test it, run it on a 300 weatherby to see if it breaks...
They have several choices, so let me know what you want and I will get a unique discount coupon code for you, then you can buy and leave a review.

I am also looking to do this for several other brands.
A line of women's clothing,
A sunglasses brand that has several lines
A sunglasses retaining band to keep them on your head while boating
The optics (obviously)
There will also likely be a mens shirts and shorts company
A different mens and womens tropical clothing company and some others.

I am looking to get roughly 100 reviewers in a database, so I can offer these things out when they come up and the first 15-20 people who want to, can participate in the low cost offering. It helps the company to develop on Amazon and they are doing it as an advertising expense.

Here are the other items that would be available at a big discount. I can tell you exactly what the discount is for all except the optics. The guy in charge of that is still making up his mind.

https://www.amazon.com/HookOn-The-Origi ... 647&sr=8-1

@$3

https://www.amazon.com/Talrayz-Board-Fl ... 872&sr=8-1

@$8

https://www.amazon.com/Talrayz-Compass- ... 918&sr=8-2

@$10

https://www.amazon.com/s?rh=n%3A7141123 ... 7141123011

all of these except the flag dress @ $5
The Flag dress @$3

the optics company is a bit more complex and I have to get final numbers for them.
