Shite or Shinola? How would it work with a shotgun using traditional, wood furniture including a full stock?

The comments are somewhat hysterical...

"One last mini-gripe: This is supposed to be TACTICAL, so why did Colt think it was a good idea to sew a bright white logo on the top of it?!? At least surround it with velcro so that we can cover it with a black patch or something!!!"

Because being black makes it tactical. Yup.

I have something similar to that for my Marlin Guide Gun, although it has two straps like a regular backpack instead of just the one. It works okay for circumstances where I am working outside and want to have my rifle on me. It will hold a pump shotgun also.

Meh, for me, but if you like it, use it.

Although I would add that to be truly tactical, it should be offered in flat, dark earth.

I reckon that's one downside to the "boonies" where your cabin is. Some of your "varmints" weight 800 lbs plus.

Here, a .357 revolver with stiff loads will take care of most anything, four legged or two.

A few years back, I had one of them cross the driveway 10-15 yards away while I was outside loading up the Jeep to leave. It explained the thrashing in the brush I had heard from the outhouse a few minutes earlier.
