I vote for it being a giant bag of derp. A sling is 1000 times more useful than that.

You're in a gunfight, ran your primary long arm dry and are now down to a pistol, and the biggest issue you have is the rifle banging against your knees as you move?

Solution in search of a problem.

I'm on the fence. Probably because I dislike slings, but the videos haven't convinced me.

I can see running through brush or in a building and having your long arm pop out and land on the ground. Derpiness to the extreme.

Pure derp.

Have any 10 chuckleheads run one infiltration course with that.
When the stitches heal from jamming the front sight into your nuts and/or legs, have the genius who invented it call me to explain why it's a bad idea IRL.

This is akin to paintball commandos who later transitioned to the major leagues, and found out that twigs don't actually deflect enemy fire, and their clever stalk at 75m unfortunately left them exposed to enemy fire for the other 925m of approach.

I agree that it looks like a good wall mount.

Glad to see my Derp meter seems to be functioning.

The great thing about a sling is that it only requires only gross motor function. That, does not. Talk about threading a needle in a gunfight.
