I need a new one. Utility and defense are what I want. Looking at the Spyderco Endura, at present. Opinions, other suggestions? Want to keep cost to $60 or less. Fire Away!

I have a Kershaw Storm that's been in my pocket daily for a few years now and shows no sign of quitting.

Hmmm, just did a search, it appears the model isn't made anymore

Owned one for years and loved it. Just be careful, it's not a pry bar. :(

I've carried a Kershaw Leek, stainless, for a few years now. GTG. It was $30 or so at Amazon.

No defense in this one, but it's what I carry and use every day: Victorinox Alox Cadet. If I ever lose it, I'll buy another right away.

Depends on the pants I'm wearing, which depends on the work environment I'll be in on any given day.

Today it's this CRKT Liftoff. A bit heavy for office wear but sits nicely in painter pant side pocket.

If no side pocket or in slacks then I have a slimmer smaller clip knife. I think I got both of them from Camofire. Didn't spend too much on either. Lose these too easy during the course of daily carry.

I have a little Victronix on my keychain and on pant days like today I also have a larger Victronix in a pocket. The screwdriver tips come in handy several times a week.

I really like Benchmade griptillians - about that price online.

I carry slip joints these days more

I have two Leeks and a Blackout, from Kershaw. They're great. All in your price range.

If those don't appeal, lots of other good stuff from the likes of Kershaw and Spyderco. ZT or Benchmade would be good to go also, but probably a bit too pricey.

I alternate between a single-edge razor blade from Horror Freight that's gotta be 4 years old at this point, kept in a small cardboard and tape cover, and a theoretically disposable #11 scapel with a handy flexible hard poly cover for the pointy end. There isn't much I deal with day to day that they won't open up.

The only time I need serious blades for serious business is on forays out beyond electricity and running water, which have gotten notably seldom lately. :(

If you feel like upping your price slightly, you can get a blemished Zero Tolerance knife from kershawguy.com. His prices are great. I bought a ZT0560 from him a few months ago.
