They are out of stock.

They will sell a lot of these if they get them in stock.

AMEN! Finally - FINALLY - Ruger gets it. I plan on ordering as many as I can at that price between now and 20 January.

The ProMag 20's are actually quite good (and fairly cheap), but the quality and reliability of the Ruger factory magazines is undeniable and I see this as a repudiation of Old Man Ruger's senseless ban on high capacity sales to 'civilians'.

Or, as someone at Rumpshot's Revenge III said, "they're trying to reduce their high-cap inventory before they get stuck with a bunch of magazines they won't be able to sell once Obama's in office and screwing things up."

And I bet Bill Ruger is spinning in his grave, since he famously stated that:
"No honest man needs more than 10 rounds in any gun…"
"I never meant for simple civilians to have my 20 and 30 round magazines…"

Bet he could generate electricity for a few houses at the rate he has to be spinning. A lot of AC556 owners will be buying these up as fast as they can. If he didn't mean for simple civilians to use 20 or 30 rounders, why did they make a select-fire variant?
