Slipstream lube/Crusader Weaponry generousity

A shameless plug. They earned it.

I sent a shipment of lube direct to the sandbox from Crusader. CEO Joe (aka Gundoc at WTA) piled on almost tripling the qty I ordered.

He's prior service Marine. Turns out they always match/doube any order going to the sandbox. In this case he saw the FPO and unit ID -- and really piled on.

DAMN STRAIGHT!! Not only is it patriotic to take care of our folks in the sandbox, but when they do so, it creates GREAT camaraderie with those prior service members who are now shopping through their products to send overseas for our folks on deployment!!

They believe in putting their money where their mouth is, and THAT is a GREAT thing!!

I believe I'll either have to download their catalog and/or request one be sent to me via snail-mail. THIS is the kind of company I much prefer to frequent, spending my hard-earned-money, and/or patronize - much more so than any of those damned O-Dumbo-Lovin' establishments (I hesitate to actually call them 'businesses').

Since I started using Slipstream, I just haven't seen the need to try anything else.

I went to the range with my buddy, and told him to rack the slide on his XD and note the friction. I field stripped it, applied Slipstream, re-assembled, and worked it in. I handed it back to him, and his response was "whooooaaa....where can I buy that?"

Seriously, no? Exactly.

People who haven't used it just look at me talking about it and wonder "What's he running on about -- has he gone unstable(r)?"

I just recalled the difference I immediately felt and here in my S&W 22a and get giddy to verge of goosebumps. That tempermental low cost piece of frustration -- transformed in 45 seconds. Like I had an entirely different piece in my hand. The freaky thing is, every firearm I use it on gets better the 2nd, 3rd and 4th time I shoot, clean and re-treat it. It's like every treatment is a fresh dose of microscopic ball bearings laid into whatever RMS value surface roughness was inherent in the system. The rockier the action and trigger -- the more noticeable the cumulative effect.

I may just have to send my new M4gery upper to Crusader to have them do their magic how unit high temp Slipstream impregnating treatment to see if that's really truly what it's cracked up to be.

See what I mean? You sitting there reading this and thinking I've completely lost my marbles.

Well I haven't. I have them right here in my hand.
;)

oops, sorry Tom

Crusader/Slipstream link

...and in case any of you have any spare cases of jerky, skittles, or gun rag/books around the unit I shipped to...

2/5 F CO, 1st Plt
UNIT 40360
FPO AP 96427-0360

I need to get a doggie care package together. I looked at the pic below a couple times before that Lab registered in my brain. It eases my mind knowing my young brother (farthest right kneeling in the photo) has that dog along on patrol.

I bought a bottle of it last year. It seems like an OK lube, but it's hardly the miracle that is often claimed.

I got some of the Slipstream oil and grease for Xmas, presently trying it on two semi autos and a revolver. Seems to work well so far. I've loaned it to one of the smiths at the range for him to try.
