Leather holsters w. a Kydex interior

I'm very fond, in many ways, of mine from Looper Gunleather/Blade-Tech. It draws very well, but it doesn't work all that well as an actual holster - it rides a bit low, and the snap loops don't stick to the belt as tight as I would like.

It is excellent to draw from - for me, it's almost a tie between it, and my Blade-Tech DOH holster - but it doesn't quite get as close as I would like for CCW.

I have a Blade-Tech Eclipse on order for my XDm 5.25, and I'll see how it works once it arrives, but I like wearing a leather surfaced holster OWB. (I really dislike how leather holsters release - I've tried good ones, etc, they just are always stickier than Kydex, w. a less consistent release.)

FIST is very rude to deal with - but they make decent holsters, and I may lower my standards to deal w. them again.

Are there any other suggestions for a holster maker who makes hybrids?

I am thinking of ordering a crossbread I'll let you know how it works for me if I do, but I've heard good about them.

I have a few of them - they're OK, but I'm looking more for a full, OWB, holster.

I have both the Kholster and he Crossbreed. The Kholster gets the edge as it is adjustable, less expensive, and has metal clips.

How conspicuous are the clips when you wear the Kholster tucked?

Edited for dumbass spelling.

Kydex lined leather? Sounds like a modern twist on the old quickdraw holsters that guys like El Paso saddlery make only instead of steel(which has the nasty tendency to mark up the guns) they're using kydex.

Probably - works great for my steel challenge matches (Its just me, and my issues w. a dot, but I'm fast and more consistent w. the Looper, and a 1911, than my race gun, and a DAA holster.)

Really, holsters, other than leather, don't matter that much. When I really push, I can get down to a 1.10-1.08 draw and A-Zone hit at 10 yards, out of anything but leather, but it takes an hour or two of draw practice in a week of practicing every day, to get there, and it goes away the next day, and its hard to hold together. (I can reliably start hitting 1.20 at that point - slow for most, but fast for me. Hit .95 once, but it was a Charlie, and just really wild.)

Not really at all. The clips really are hard to see unless you are looking for them.
