SAFE!

No pics, since it's a bland old safe. The only fun part was watching three of the six over-280-pounds-each delivery guys place the safe on the landing to my basement steps, then climb over it so they could get into position to ease the safe down the steps. The two biggest guys stayed behind the safe to act as counterweights by attaching loading straps to themselves and the safe, two of them held the safe from the front while the third braced against one of the pillars and acted as a brace for those two. The last guy was the one who held the appliance dolly and guided the safe down the steps.
The process was more impressive than the safe, to be sure. It's a 24-gun safe, which means "24 long guns or 12 long guns and storage." With everything I've got, I'll have enough space for the FUDD-15 if it ever gets done, Dad's 870 and four other rifles. The handgun collection is a different matter, though. The shelves are going to get crowded.
