Where does it store the full-size bits? Because seriously, that looks awesome.

Bah. Less than awesome. Are they at least a standard 1/4 hex bit?

I just read a report, in a local industry rag, on them and the complaint was with the driver head itself--do not really torque down on it as they have a tendency to break--shatter was the word used in the article--otherwise they got good reviews.

Sorry, I should have been more specific--yes, it is the unit on the tool, the built in that when you torque it heavy the actual slot where the bits go in shatter...not at the joint to the arm but the whole hole!CByrneIV wrote:The changeable bit driver heads, the bit adapter, or the head of the built in long screwdrivers?SeekHer wrote:I just read a report, in a local industry rag, on them and the complaint was with the driver head itself--do not really torque down on it as they have a tendency to break--shatter was the word used in the article--otherwise they got good reviews.
if it's the changeable bits or the adapter, I don't much care as I can replace those cheaply in a heartbeat. If its the builtin drivers, then that's an issue. The warranty will cover it, but that's still a pain. Sounds like a case of bad heat treating if it is.
As you said warranty, built a bitch to send back all the time--then again, you aren't really using that to set the receiver screw or break out a nut on a bike wheel with it.
Then again, what do you expect of Chi-Comm made stuff.

The socket for the bits sounds like it's "glass hard", probably because its made from shit metal, to keep it from egging out the rotary broached hex sided hole.

What's the matter? You don't like buying flashy tools that don't stand up to real use?CombatController wrote:Bah, lost interest.

The tool got mediocre reviews all over (Google it) but other then not really torquing down on the driver it worked fine and it's inexpensive with a good little light.
