both dress and something more casual for throwing snowballs, hiking, etc.
Here's what I found for dress gloves. It seems like they would allow enough dexterity to draw my CCW and handle it relatively well...

Any other suggestions? What about something non-dress? Fire Away!

Re: Need Trigger Friendly Gloves
I picked a pair like this out of a sale bin over the summer at Cabela's. They are a little shiny for my taste but they are the best balance I have found between warmth and dexterity. The grip is thin textured leather and the back of the glove is polyester, so they don't stick to my clothes when reaching for the wallet or keys. This is the first pair of gloves I have owned that I can pump gas, including paying with my card, without taking the gloves off that are warm enough to consider casual winter gloves (winter in CT that is). They are also thin enough not to prohibit my trigger finger from getting into the trigger guard on my P3AT.
They are also the first pair of gloves I have ever tried on that didn't leave extra material past the end of my index finger

I've been using Nomex flight gloves in that role ever since I got issued my first pair back in flight school. I usually get them in standard issue sage green, but you can get them in black if you want something "dressier".

Here's a store local to us down here, by Gillespie Field in El Cajon, and they carry five different colors - each at $32.00 pr.randy wrote:I've been using Nomex flight gloves in that role ever since I got issued my first pair back in flight school. Motorcycle Superstore has the Olympia 100 Roper gloves, both lined and unlined.
LINKY
I have a pair of the lined ones, and they are pretty good. They're useful for more than just bike riding.
Cabela's sells the Bob Allen line of gloves, which are nice. LINKY

Cheaper Than Dirt has the Nomex flight gloves for $14.97. I wonder why they are so much cheaper there than all the other outlets. Should I be suspicious?

No doubt they're Nomex flight gloves, but there's no mention of them being made to military specifications - probably more like cheap Chinese knockoffs.skb12172 wrote:Cheaper Than Dirt has the Nomex flight gloves for $14.97. I found some nice neoprene gloves with trigger-finger slits in New Zealand; they look like they would be good in cold or wet conditions. I'll try to remember to look them out and see what the brand-name was.
