Sportsmans Guide has USGI Style Snowshoes.

I buy from these folks a lot, their stuff is always top notch.

I've used snowshoes like these when I went igloo camping on Mt. Rainier. They worked great. They're also about 1/3 of the cost of the REI plastic snowshoes.

Interesting. Not to hijack your thread, but this caused me to do a web search to see how much my Sherpa snowshoes would cost if I had to buy them today. Apparently the manufacturer went out of business several years ago, so now they have to last me the rest of my life.

I have two pair of those shoes from 8-10 years ago that I also bought from Sportsman's Guide. Cost me $45.00 a pair, and the bindings were not included. They work very well, and if I needed a third pair I'd buy it to reduce my average cost.
