Recoil Reducing Shotgun Stocks?
do recoil reducing stocks, specifically the Knoxx stocks (CompStock, SpecOps, and SpecOps Folder) really help reduce recoil?

I'll do as Chris did, and get one eventually. For now, I have the Remington R3 Recoil Pad, and - for $20 - it's not a bad deal 'til I get my share of the $700BN.

And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.

Yup, put several on the department scatterguns (Mossy 500's) and they do help immensely with the full powered buck and slugs. Pretty much converted the department over on their personal weapons also.
I'm not that enamored with them however, when I cheek them properly and fire, I get a particular slap from the stock that I don't get from a standard wood or synthetic stock. But then I'm kinda odd.

yeah i have read about some people that have a problem with "cheek slap", it seems to vary from person to person. some people say if you let the stock back out a click it helps.

They make a standard looking straight stocks for the 870 at least. Can't tell them apart from the regular black synthetic stocks.

It was mounted properly.
But the wrong stock drop for me.
The tube is mounted @1/2" too high for my use.
And no running it in and out through several settings didn't help.
And it's not a recoil issue, I shoot standard slugs through an Ithaca 37 for fun on range days.
Everybody else can have them.
Besides, they don't look even half as good as a plain piece of walnut.

That's rarely appreciated nowadays and should be encouraged.ugly in a way that pisses of liberals and wussies everywhere
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

It looks like something one could mount under an AR-15, were one so inclined.
