Rightisright is right (sorry) Get greenboard or wonderboard or whatever they call the base to put under tile in the kitchen and bath.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Don't use "greenboard". It's generally just a water resistant gypsum. Use the Durock or similar. Cheap ass remodelers/builders use greenboard in kitchens and baths.
