Now this is CCW vest...

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

I had similar thoughts about just how well that would fit in here in rural Kansas. Prolly wouldn't attract any attention at all over at the local livestock sales barn...

Jered whether you buy it there or not, you still have to declare the purchase unless you want to get a smuggling charge laid on you. You are only allowed to make so much in foreign purchases while travelling abroad...Go over and you'll pay duty and taxes.

That UK price included the 17.5% VAT--value added tax that when you get to the aeroport or train station when leaving the country you apply to have it refunded to you on A L L your purchases...They'll give it to you there in cash (if small) or by cheque...So allow an extra hour for check-in.
I know this.

And I know how likely customs officials are to waste time on a relatively small amount of duty, because it would only be on the items that are over the $800 exemption. I don't think you'll have special agents beating down your door because you brought back too many dutiable items and didn't declare them.

Well it's pretty plain that different people here have different ideas on class and status issues.

My only problem: I would have nowhere to wear such an item, nor any other items from the vest's manufacturer.
