My new TOY BOX

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

I do need to take a new pic of the safe. I did manage to stuff a few more long guns in it and I did add two pistol racks to the top shelf to hold 12 handgund. I think I have managed to put 50 or more guns in it.
The safe is in the livingroom because it would make it down the hall.
The old safe is in my bedroom. It is a 14 gun safe, but I have managed to stuff 16 Mausers in it and a few handguns.

You know, I could hold a gun spring cleaning day and have a bunch of frinds over to clean guns. I could throw some things on the grill and put a bunch of beer on ice.

Hey Rumpshot, When is the next shoot? My oldest son wants to take another roadtrip out west.

The magic crate will not be putting out as much this year, I'm running out of room. But in the last two years it has put out almost 100 guns.

Well ya got CC's doin's coming up soon in Austin.

Rumpshot's Revenge has not set a date, but look at late Oct to first weekend in Nov. Leaning towards late Oct. After Halloween is good for Punkin shootin, but starts to cool off pretty quickly at nights then too.

I have only picked up 4 guns this year.
#1 Ithaca Mod. 49 single shot .22 lever action
#2 Stevens Favorite 22lr mod 1915
#3 1936 Tula 91/30 SCW
#4 M1893 Oviedo Mauser sporter, missing the bolt

I do have two others on lay a way and a deal (tread for stock work) for a Mauser.
Counting all 7 guns I will have just a little more then $720 out of pocket.
