Dirt Cheap G3 mags at Cheaper than dirt.

Post by moose42 »

G3 mags for only $0.97 crazy cheap! Yes I know G3 mags are usually fairly cheap.

Check out this thread at We The Armed to get pretty pictures of the mags.

Some mags are new in wrap, some good, and some rusty, but at this price who cares.

I don't even have a rifle that takes these mags yet.

That's the Crusader Broadsword. An AR pattern rifle that takes G3 mags! :-) No MSRP yet but I'd imagine it's going to be less than an ACR. :-P

Or I might get a PTR-91.

Isn't Crusader Mad Ogre's venture?

Reading that thread, sounds like they sold out of the mags.

Still in stock as of 7:15pm MST.

I just bought 20 of them this afternoon.

Yes The Mad Ogre, is part of Crusader. That's one reason I want one of those rifles when they come out so I can support them.

Plus it just seems awesome.

With Magpul coming out with an AR-10 sized mag, I have a feeling that the industry is eventually going to standardize on it.

I forget who all is in what camp, but I think that DPMS, Armalite and Knights Armament are all on one standard of magazine based on the M1A, Rock River uses FAL/L1A1 magazines, Bushmaster/Remington uses a different standard, or something like that. Then CMMG makes lowers for one of the AR-10 standards and one for the G3.

Under $3 for steel mags is an even better deal.

The aluminum mags are nice, but the steel ones are virtually indestructible. One of the best mag designs ever, on par with the East German AK-47 mags.
