steel wool vs. dryer lint for firestarter?

2) So, I saw those ingredients on a scientific storehouse, but is there a local alternative?

2) What tinder would you use for each component with those chemicals?

EDIT: OK, I found the koi pond cleaner, but what about glycerin(e)? It seems there are too many varieties for me to pin down.
And may I say, from a moral point of view, I think there can be no justification for shoving snack cakes up your action.
