The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).
What an AWESOME trailer (video at Wimp.com)!!! They REALLY put a lot of thought into this design - almost no wasted space and can go practically everywhere the tow vehicle can go!
Here's the description below the video:
The UEV 440 compact trailer from Conqueror Australia, an off-road vehicle and equipment manufacturer, is an all-in-one station for cooking, sleeping, and traveling. While the UEV 440 looks small on the outside, there's plenty to see once it's unpacked.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
Thanks for posting that, Randy, but my PM still isn't going through. I wonder if it's still the same issue.
Right; that IS cool, huh? I haven't been able to find a price for it yet, but I'm sure it's not cheap!!
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
The company's website is here.
The 440 in the video has bigger and littler brothers, but it seems extremely well thought out.
They don't list prices anywhere.
Google-fu to the FJCruiser forums says that the 440 went for $32K USD in 2010.
It's a bitchin' little toy, but they don't seem particularly geared to export markets yet. Pity.
Worse, not being able to purchase the diesel Toyota Hilux (or most of the other diesels sold everywhere but here) should be a crime against humanity in this country.

I've seen vids for a couple of their products now. Nice looking stuff, but there are two things that give me pause. They're in Australia, with no signs that they have dealers in the US. That means shipping is not likely going to be free. Mil-spec materials and construction mean these aren't cheap, even if you go buy one directly. They incorporate a lot of careful thought and innovative ideas. I would SO grab one with my lottery winnings, but I hear you have to buy a ticket to win (emails from Nigeria notwithstanding). It's the kind of thing I would build for myself, if I had the money, the shop, and the skills. The videos I've seen are intriguing and impressive. They are, however, advertising, and I am wary of ads, just a bit.

The retail price in Australia is from ~40kAUD to 80 - unfortunately the USD is no longer twice the AUD.
Not sure how much of that is VAT, etc. Nor how high the mark-up is - US RVs usually are sold well under sticker, TMK
