Probably the best over-all solution. If you are handy with an oxy/acetylene torch and stick welder, a small used boat trailer can be converted into a decent utility trailer for not much money. A trailer with a 2000# GWR axle and 12" wheels can handle a tank up to about 200 gals.Precision wrote:Looking at used semi fuel tanks. Perhaps to mount on the trailer thing or perhaps not. I've built a couple of trailers like this before, and it can be done in a couple of days; even one day, if you really get after it and have a helper.
