USMC Survival kit on sale today

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

I don't know, there really is not much of a difference between being shot on a battlefield than shooting yourself(ND) on a range or being shot in a liquor store robbery. Yes a hospital is usually closer, but immediate care is still the same. You probably have no need for an I.V. bag, but battle dressings are worth it for those of us who shoot. A BOK takes up little room in a range bag. I'd think it'd be stupid not to have one if you shoot/hunt out in the middle of nowhere. It need not even be a bullet, catch a tree branch through your leg falling from a stand and you'll wish you had good bandages.

You make a very good point. I didn't remove all the bandages from the kit though - still got two in there. I have an FFD also in the shoulder pocket of the SAS smock I wear when hunting.
