REVIEW: Evyl Robot Custom made belt

Post by randy »

My trusty Ted Blocker dress belt (1.25") that I've worn daily to work for 7 years now is starting to show it's age and the strain of daily use. I wear a "gun rated" belt as daily work wear even though I've been working in non-permissive environments for 2 reason; After work I can throw on a holster quickly for evening activities, and so that you can't tell if I'm carrying based on the belt I'm wearing.

I contacted Michael AKA Evyl Robot. He didn't normally have that size of belt but was more than willing to work with me on spec'ing out what I wanted and making helpful suggestions for me to consider.

Once I gave the final approval, the turn around was about 2 weeks. He gave me updates on progress and let me know when it shipped, with the tracking number.

I'm very happy with the result. Exactly what I wanted. I've been wearing it for a week, both at work and carrying my BHP in my Ted Blocker ST17 IWB. Adjustments are just where they need be for both carry and non-carry wear (thanks to ER's input). Quality to my inexperienced eye is on par with my Ted Blocker belts, and came in within the same price range.

We've already been discussing a custom holster project, pending availability of funds on my part. based on my experience with the belt, I will have no hesitation on contacting him when the time comes.

Good quality, fairly priced, custom work from a Gun Counter member. What's not to like?

Highly recommended.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
