Pride Fowler Scopes

Post by Darrell »

I ran across Pride Fowler's website over at Mad Ogre's, he's now a dealer for them. I've heard the name before, but ain't familiar with their products. They bill their Rapid Reticle, which looks like a BDC job. Anybody have experience with them?

http://rapidreticle.com/index.htm

They appear to address one thing I've wondered about variable power scopes with BDC reticles:
SCOPE SPECIFICATIONS, RAPID RETICLE 600 LR 3-9X42 MM
3-9x42 one inch diameter one piece tube 6061 T6 aluminum , matte black anodized finish.
Multi-coated lenses, Reticle in first plane (allows for accurate use of aiming throughout power range with out change of zero at any magnification setting).
Threaded eye-piece adjustment with lock ring.
Positive ¼ M.O.A. windage and elevation clicks on the low profile target type knobs with reset to zero feature.
Weight: approx. 14 oz. Length: 12 3/8 inches.
They make several models for different calibers, bullet weights and BCs, and in 1" and 30mm tubes.

*sound of crickets*

So... Does their description mean that the BDC reticle will zoom with the power change of the scope?

IMHO FFP reticles are tits on a nun, they end up being too big or too small.
