Sportsmans Guide has USGI Style Snowshoes.

The place for general talk about gun, shooting, loading, camping, survival, and preparedness related tools and gear, as well as gear technology discussion, gear reviews, and gear specific "range reports" (all other types of gear should be on the back porch).

Sportsmans Guide has USGI Style Snowshoes.

Right here

I buy from these folks a lot, their stuff is always top notch.

I've used snowshoes like these when I went igloo camping on Mt. Rainier. They worked great. They're also about 1/3 of the cost of the REI plastic snowshoes.

Interesting. Not to hijack your thread, but this caused me to do a web search to see how much my Sherpa snowshoes would cost if I had to buy them today. Apparently the manufacturer went out of business several years ago, so now they have to last me the rest of my life.

I have two pair of those shoes from 8-10 years ago that I also bought from Sportsman's Guide. Cost me $45.00 a pair, and the bindings were not included. They work very well, and if I needed a third pair I'd buy it to reduce my average cost.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
