Ah... Wishlists...

Post by Combat Controller »

Well, you all may have noticed I have dropped off the radar a bit the last several months. Been growing my company and all that, plus have taken on a massive amount of financial responsibility that has rather curtailed my ability to purchase all sorts of fun guns, and get up to mischief. I find myself now with a list of things I am striving for, and would dearly love to have. Thought I would share a few of mine, and ask you to share yours....

.458 SOCOM upper for the AR-15, because I can.

10mm CCO (trying to find someone who will build one first! The cost is prohibitive either way)

Here are two I can get soon I would think....

AR-15 .22 caliber conversion kit. I have shot these and they are extra neato.

.357 sig barrel for my Delta Elite, this way I can shoot the cheap as dirt to reload .357sig round out of my 10mm which I love. Nice and snappy too! I plan on using this for IDPA, right now I use a .45, but why not change things up a bit?

Heck, I passed up due to my frugality some of the sweet ones, like

Model 29 3" .44 mag, original like new Colt Ace, take down winchester .30-30, browning citori 12 ga, 8" nickel colt python, 4" colt anaconda, and many others at good prices, some so low I could cry. I hate being responsible....

I did plunk down a deposit on a 9mm Kimber for Miss G&T to use in IDPA.

CZ .22 lr upper for AR-15. 16 inch barrel. The barrel and chamber give you better accuracy than the drop in kits. Expensive though, something like $300 to $350.

There is some outfit making a reciever kit that lets you use Rugger 10-22 barrel and guts to make it an AR-15 clone. You supply the stock and handgurards.

All this time I figured you were waiting for your local shops to rebuild their inventories.

That too. I had to give them a break. Perhaps next year when my new plant is built and some customers have paid some invoices... I overfished.

I'd really like to get a Caspian titanium 1911 frame, and build a 10mm carry gun on it. It would be a little bigger than a CCO, but weigh about the same.

Me too. Commander sized. I know Dan Wesson has a reliable 10mm commander, but it is only bobtailed, which I hate.
