Due to legal problems (something involving one of their guys being party to selling substandard ammo to a US ally paid for with US government money) Vector Arms is closing down and is selling off their stock to an as of yet un-named buyer. These guys made their name as THE Uzi guys (I have one and love it) but they also made good AKs and HK clones. They will be missed.
More information (and a hell of allot of speculation) is available at Uzi Talk.

I noticed this a couple days ago, when I was at their site, and noticed that they didn't have prices or even listings for UZI's or AK's.

So they are now dead because one of their guys was greedy?

It is not clear at this time if the Vector Arms guy knew that the ammo was bad. Even if he did it still sucks for everyone else at the company and the consumers who relied upon said company to get parts available in few places.84Charlie wrote:So they are now dead because one of their guys was greedy?
