RKBA Dealers & Makers

Taken from the thread so as not to hijack it...
Handgun Grip makers
If someone or company is making anything that is a gun, used by a gun, helps the shooter with that gun, is then by definition a RKBA maker or dealer, period.
Because S&W kowtowed to the Clinton administration makes them panty waists but still gun makers and they receive the ire of the anti gun factions just the same as Ingram or Charter Arms would get...
Did what they do make them any less evil in the eyes of the Bradey Bunch...I would not link it as a wise decision but still a good corporate decision...Lets see, loose the sale of X number of units to other companies because of an installed gun lock OR face the combined efforts of the BAT F(U), IRS, FBI, INS to shut them down...Duh, I know which one I'd have chosen!
Just because they support a Democrat locally instead of a Republican doesn’t give us the right to stop buying their products…What if the Democrat is a NRA Life Member and/or the Republican is an idiot…Even if he wasn’t a NRA supporter maybe he brought forward legislation that aided the company directly or the industry generally…Why are certain areas hot spots for gun or knife makers—Montana, South Dakota—and others aren’t…because the politicians brought forwarded incentives for those industries to move in, create jobs within the company, jobs building the buildings that house them, additional real estate sales for imported workers, etc…
It also goes to my rant of what is American…Buy American! Damn good idea but who or what is and who or what isn’t?
If a company is owned completely by Americans, has only Americans as employees, buys only American made materials to make their product, then they are, by gawd, Americans and are American product?
Now, what of the plant built by Americans, staffed by Americans but all the materials come from American companies BUT are owned completely, totally, by non-Americans…Are they an American firm? Is that an American product?
What of the American company that buys all of their materials off shore and assembles them there! Are they Americans? Is that an American product? What of the same company but assembles the goods acquired off shore on American soil? Is that an American product?
Worst case scenario is a foreign company, using foreign parts but assembling them here? Is that an American product?
What companies would fall into these other categories? Let’s see, Winchester, Browning, Sig, HK, CZ, Taurus, etc.

Here we have a major disparity, a difference of opinion. There was also a thread along that line at Gun Thing...308Mike wrote:Well now, this is quite awesome. I always like to patronize businesses and companies who support the RKBA, but to have members who are in that category is all that much better.stradawhovious wrote:Thanks for the plug Princewally!
I will have more and more available on my site all the time, (might take a little while, customer special orders are my first priority) but if you look, and don't see what you want, please send me an email as to what you are looking for.......... I'll always entertain a challenge!!!
I would love to have a section on the site where we could go to if you needed a service or product and look up to see if they support the Second Amendment. We now have a grip manufacturer, now how about a leather shop who makes holsters, or just a holster shop in general - so we get in the habit of supporting those who support what we believe in. I know it's something we've talked about before on Kim's sites, and it could be VERY useful and beneficial.
If I find out Home Depot is full of GFWs and don't like the idea of their employees being able to protect themselves (although they have LOTS of deadly tools available nearby, albeit not in arm's reach), and Lowes supports the RKBA and doesn't hassle their employees who CCW, I'll never spend my money at Home Depot as long as there's a Lowes around!
