I think the biggest think is how well it can be controlled.

My Rohrbaugh ran well, but I had a hell of a time using it at 10 yards on a plate rack. (The sights weren’t much either)

This is the crux of the issue. You want to show me a non-sucky-trigger S&W .380 Bodyguard sized pistol with 6 or 7+1 capacity for DEEP concealment, with much less loss in stopping power than going from 9mm to .380? That might have legs. Marketing this as ‘nearly 9mm, but with moar boolits’ instead of ‘up-gunning from .380 without an increase in pistol size’ is a mistake.
That would be my take. An LCP sized 10-12 round pistol with a round closer to 9mm than 380 would seem to have a market.

I don't see going down a size. I think it's a solution in search of an answer. I carry 5 rounds 0f .357 80% of the time with a .300 BLK with 60 rounds and a .45 with 45 rounds nearby in my truck. The rest of the time I am at home where its a bad day for boffo.

Does anybody currently make a 32 caliber medium revolver that doesn't have a short barrel?

Not other than the Ruger Single Seven, that I know of. Ruger used to do the GP-100 in .327 Fed with a 4”ish barrel.

No, I'm talking like an 8 inch barrel. Wondering if anybody makes a decent handgun for chuck hunting.

Ruger does make the Single Seven with a 7.5” barrel, would that work?

Hunh. That's new. I wonder when they added that?

I know, right? He says it like it’s not going to be an extremely bad for boffo anywhere something stupid pops off… something about the Irish mob and all that.
