Loving your work Palmetto State....

Post by Steamforger »

Nice. I remove a gas block and this is what I find. I've run a few mags through it and it is functional, just the quality of work is low IMHO. I'm betting someone put the jig on backwards when they drilled. As it is a CHF barrel, it was headed out the door to me pretty much no matter what.

ETA- Since a burr is holding one side of each pin in I sent PSA an email asking for a warranty claim or 1 for 1 exchange. We'll see what happens.

Holy Hannah! I know they've had some teething pains caused by growing so quickly, but I've had nothing but good luck w. them. In fact, I just finished a build w. one their CHF barrels. I took the FSB off to install a Seekins barrel nut and everything was kosher.

I'll be watching to see what their response is...

That was a 20" CHF if I didn't already mention it.

Day one isn't looking too hot. The customer service number "cannot be completed as dialed" and the only email I've received was a "looks like you may still need this" email that uses terms like "Finish what you started...." and "Get the gun, gear, or part you need now."

So, I was looking up the upper I got to ensure the barrel had M4 feed ramps and PSA's automated system is firing off emails goading me into purchasing the exact same thing I'm having a problem with.

I figure I'll give them another day to respond (mostly to see what I can do for a barrel from someone else) before putting this on Reddit and their FB page.

48 hours just to respond to an email should be plenty of time.

I got a response Saturday. They want to replace the barrel and are sending a shipping label, but they want the entire upper, not just the barrel.

I'll just get it back together and headed their way.
