New guns

Post by Rod »

We went out yesterday to get a new gun for Rudy (cinhouse) so she could qualify for the license to carry. Got her a new Bersa Thunder in .380. Very nice little gun, slim as hell. Turns out her left hand is so weak from an operation that she can't jack the slide back so we'll shelve that idea and she'll shoot the course with her Smith Model 36 or my Model 19. I also have decided to put away the Springfield 1911 as a carry gun because it bands my arthritic wrist around too much. Ended up getting a Beretta Px4 Compact (which is a misnomer even though it's a 3 inch barrel) in 9mm. It weighs 12 ounces less than the 1911 and holds 17 pellets of destruction in the mag. Pictures to follow later. Range report on both guns to follow after the weather gets nicer.

I like the bersa line I almost went with the CC version like you got but the normal version is concealable enough for me plus it was cheaper in my neck of the woods.

I think those Berretta's are under rated.
Both are good guns and under appreciated.
