If this thing is anywhere near as good as my SR-9, I will be very interested in getting one.

I guess Kel-Tec should be relieved that it looks like they decided to pick on somebody their own size for a while.

That's like saying that Winchester, Remington, Howa, and Savage all want a piece of Mauser's pie.Kommander wrote:Looks like someone wants a piece of S&W and Glocks pie.
The striker fired pistol is now ubiquitous. For now, I"ll give it a solid "MEH", but if the pistol is as good as the Ruger American Rifle, and the Ruger American Rimfire, they may well have a winner on their hands. Especially if they sell it at a popular price point. We'll see.

Wel I'll be darned!! A Ruger handgun that doesn't look like it was built in a Russian tractor factory!! I thought they forgot how!

I'm not old--It's too early to be this late.

Thoughts:
1 - That hump on the back looks ginormous. Sure hope that's the "large" backstrap.
2 - like the ambi mag release, I'm so right hand dominant that I can't even play with myself left handed, but I have two kids who shoot leftie.
3 - be nice if it had a frame mounted thumb safety.
4 - If it's as good as the American Rifle series of firearms it will sell well. (at the right price point of course)

Well of course. I don't blame them, but that market is hard to break into. S&W spent years trying (and being sued by Glock) before finally succeeding with the M&P.PawPaw wrote:That's like saying that Winchester, Remington, Howa, and Savage all want a piece of Mauser's pie.Kommander wrote:Looks like someone wants a piece of S&W and Glocks pie.
