Rat gun getting a big brother
So, wandering around a chain House of Hock, in notice they have something interesting in the pistol case. A Kel-Tec P-40. (They also have an old S&W Lemon Squeezer, but I suspect that one will be staying put for a while.) Even better, the P-40 is on clearance. Layaway begun and my P-11 won't be so lonely. Now to see if magazines are available anywhere...

I love the House of Hock, all of them. Interesting shit shows up there. Very interesting shit.
I had the counterguy at the House of Hock tell me that he absolutely loves Hi-Point 9mm pistols because he can sell the shit out of them for $100 all day long. They give $20.00 for a Hi-Point 9mm, even if you bought it from them earlier that week for $100.
Still, I've found some very interesting things in the pawn shop. Like a Turnbull restoration that I picked up for less than the price of a new Ruger revolver. Last week.

It's at the Cash America Pawn Shop on Veterans Blvd, near the Vets exit. Chambered for .32 S&W Short. Looks to be in pretty good shape. Grip safety, external hammer.PawPaw wrote:I love the House of Hock, all of them. Interesting shit shows up there. Very interesting shit.
