Schmidt Rubin K-11 carbine and I'm broke!
Classic Firearms has some K-11 carbines in stock for about $300 and I'm too broke to order one.

That's not a bad price for an AK kit with a new chrome lined barrel, but just be aware that building an AK using a NEW barrel (as opposed to using a number matching kit with the original barrel) is NOT for the faint of heart. Also, the "nitrided" 4150 AK barrels are the new hotness. PITA to use though. I used up a shit-ton of 3mm and 4mm drill bits on the one I did recently, because I should have bought carbide and didn't.Catbird wrote:$400 Polish AK kit
