It seems I have a new project for the rest of the year. My best friend for the past couple of decades is an avid firearm collector. He's been collecting for the past 40 years or so. Now, he has an extensive collection, but he has a problem. His kids have basically let him know that they are not interested in the collection, so there is no point leaving it to them. He needs to make some room, so he has decided to sell off a good portion of the collection, take the money, and go have some fun. But since he still works full time he doesn't really have the time to run the auctions himself. That's where I come in. He asked if I would do it for him. He's my friend. Yes, I would do it. Besides, now I get to fondle all the fun stuff. Over the next few weeks He has planned to sell off about 80 pistols, 100-120 rifles, and 20 or so shotguns. I'm gonna enjoy this.
