Tom, do you remember the cardboard revolver we made for that play at the church in San Diego?
We just cut out the shapes and layered them together with glue, wrapped it with black electrical tape and had a fake handgun that would be dangerous to show on the street,......

They need to make one that you glue the pages onto sheet metal and cut out.

Any modeler worth a hoot could make cores and patterns from an existing lower and cast one using chopped/shredded fiber and casting resin.
I'm not old--It's too early to be this late.
