PawPaw is coming to Texas
PawPaw, I see from your blog you're headed for Fort Worth. Wish down the road in Texas didn't mean a 10 hour drive or I'd invite you to stop by. Welcome pard.

Yeah, we're leaving here Thursday, heading to Fort Worth. We'll leave there Sunday about noon and head back. The Big Thicket Bushwhackers is hosting the Showdown in Cowtown, the Texas State Championships for Cowboy Fast Draw. My cousin honcho's the club and I told him I'd come help. I want to watch a major championship match, because our local club is ginning up and we'd like to host a major match in a year or so.
I love Texas. If I hadn' t met my lady when I did, I'd probably be in Texas today, full time. I had several LEO job offers at the time and was considering a move to central Texas, probably around Waco. As it is, I moved back to my home town, a whole 50 miles from where I raised my kids.
I love the people, the ladies, the terrain, the good roads, there's a lot to like in Texas.

Redman comes in tins???? I thought it only came in plugs or pouches. Skoal comes in tins, as does Copenhagen and a few others.
(Grandpa used Beechnut, that's where I learned that if you chew tobacco, spitting is NOT optional.)
PawPaw, you behave yourself out there in Texas!!! Bear in mind that Milady has a gun that will also shoot REAL bullets, not just wax ones!!!
