I went looking for some of Larry Potterfield's "fine English shotguns" video series last night, and look what I found...

Anybody want to bet the antis have been at work?

I will be writing to Mr Potterfield to tell him how annoyed I am at Youtube's treatment of MidwayUSA.

YouTube is owned by Google. "Don't be evil" is probably the best example today of Lenin's "Aesopian Language."

Cranky, acerbic, with amusing anecdotes about the film industry?

...and I feel an IT problem coming on which will lead to their accidentally all being copied to a harddisk near me...

I know the videos are still available at Midway, but I can't watch them on my TV the way I can YouTube. Now I have to use the PC...

Nah, it's pretty easy. "All of you schmucks and peons using our services, don't be evil. We'll tell the government if you do" gets truncated to "Don't be evil."

It's not anti-gun so much as having an extremely overzealous copyright protection policy.

That they do, and this crappy explanation would leave everyone wondering "WTF?" because YouTube aggregated three different possibilities for the suspension into one piece of boilerplate, so even the accountholder would have no effing clue what the real problem was.
