Why? This is also suited to the SUV road warrior, although the cost is more befitting someone who has LOTS of money:
Price is $285,000.00

One of my friends (ex-infantry) didn't understand why we didn't mount such things on our boats -- he thought private individuals could still buy new machine guns -- And, yes, of course I want a mini gun...

I want to be able to AFFORD having a mini-gun! My ammo bill would be sky-high!

Sigh. Back in '85, there was a transferable Vulcan receiver in one of the vendor tents at Knob Creek. Only $30K.

Considering that the new production price is likely less than $20,000, you can thank the NFA for "price inflation".

Keep in mind that's "asking price", not necessarily "selling price". I think it will go for alot less - Post 86 dealer samples typically go for $60k ish. If they ever manage to overturn 922(O), I have a feeling that Degroat and Dillon will be doing brisk business.
I knew of one for sale in either PA or Virginia about 7 or 8 years ago, with an asking price of 90K..
