Once upon a time, when SM-1 first got her hunting rifle, (I'd picked her up from her Hunter Safety Course) we went to the range. After the basics of safety, she proceeded to crank four rounds downrange, into a "group" that couldn't be covered with a dinner plate.
She looked at her "group" and said "Papa, what happened?" I asked her, "what do you need, to shoot a good group?"
She said "Consistent sight picture, consistent breath control, and consistent trigger squeeze."
I said, "Which did you NOT do?"
She thought for a second, and said "All of them!!"
Betcha $50, right now, that she could deliver a sub-MOA group out to 300 yards.
