What can you get decent .30 Carbine for these days? I stopped buying when the price more than doubled in 2008-ish. I certainly wouldn't mind having some more on hand.

That's where I bought the ammo. I got all FMJ. I normally buy my .30 Carbine from them now that Wideners has been bought out by Lucky Gunner. I try to shoot only Prvi, Sellier and Bellot, and Lake City out of my carbine.

I bought the Hi-Power from them as well.

I bought my second AR yesterday morning from a guy on Armslist.

PSA, 5.56, carry handle sights (don't know what you actually call it, 4 PSA mags full of M885, spare flip up sight. All for $550.

I'm kind of tapped out, now, though.

Shot it at a friend's house in the afternoon 5-6" groups at 100 yards with no glasses. I think I can improve on that.

Consistent trigger SQUEEZE (not "pull").

You're right. I do know this stuff.

I was doing fine with breath and squeeze, I think.

I wasn't taking enough time for sight picture. He had a 2'x3' sheet of paper with sharpie circles drawn on it. I couldn't see the circles, so I was going center of mass on the paper. Not sure how well I was judging COM.

ETA: Tell the Minions I'll keep working until I make them proud.
