This years BAG Day guns
Bretta 92FS

Have two complite AR lowers and a complett carbine upper coming in from Palmetto State Armory. Should be here next week.
Do not relish to feel what the men that used these weapons felt when they saw the elephant. For the elephant has tusk and to see him is to have his tusk dig deep into your soul. You will always have a part of you that will be cold and empty.

I picked up that S&W 19-3 today, talked 'em down a bit from the asking price. I'll try to get some pics and post them later today.

Yeah, I just had to write a check for a couple of grand to the IRS... Glad I already ordered all the parts I will need for a while.

Ended up getting an 870 that's been languishing at a local House of Hock. 870s are like ARs and 1911s: Legos for gun nuts. I replaced the wood that the previous owner had painted in a bad green & black cammo with some bits & bobs I had on hand. Next paycheck will result in an extended mag tube and a shorter barrel.

Good God, man. Lie down in a dark room until the feeling passes!

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

I grabbed one on Saturday at the local Academy. The cricket is too short for my oldest daughter.

And I checked with my friendly local MOD, who informs me that my left-handed, 7mm-08 Scout rifle is ready to ship, should be here in a week or so.

Little late for BAG Day, but I'm gonna call it a two-fer, anyway.
