When you discover how relatively easy it is to build these and the enormous variety of parts available it is truly a slippery slope once you get started.
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

I had two stripped lowers come in today. Brownells put them on sale as part of their black rifle event, and I picked up two Bushmaster lowers for a build this spring. I'm thinking an M4 clone and maybe something with a 16" A2 profile barrel for predators.
