First gun, Christmas present from dad, a Marlin model 60 .22lr. Still have it, though its been semi-retired ever since I got the 10/22.
First pistol was a Llama Omni .45 I bought when stationed in Millington, TN.
First shotgun was a Rem. 870 also bought in Millington.
My favorite story of his ended with "...and so he went out the back door in his bathrobe, flipped the AK to 'Afrikaner', and started hosing the baboons off his tennis court." - Tam

Hello. First time poster here.

I can't rightly remember if my first gun was the taurus .22 revolver, the H&R .410, or the Remington .22LR Rifle( the one that was tube fed through the stock, (at least I think it was a Remmy). I can't remember because I was only three years old at the time. All I can ever remember is growing up shooting, which is a GOOD thing, I think!!

Glad to see that "The Gun Thing" didn't die!!!

Pistol G17 brand new with my own money at 18. When you could still by a handgun at 18. 1988

rifle Remington 700 in .270 with a 3x9 for hunting new 2006

Shotgun 870 express 12ga for dog and man drives as well as home defense used 2007

The first handgun I shot was my dad's colt Trooper MKIII with 38 specials
first rifle is my dad's .22lr which reminds me, I need to get some parts to fix her.

First ever firearm: Stevens 311 .410 dbl bbl SxS. I killed many a squirrel with it and I still have it.

First pistol: Grandad's Browning Baby .25 ACP. It's sentimental and has family history behind it, so it's never getting sold.

First rifle: Marlin 30 AW in .30-30 Win. I still have it. It kills hogs real good. :D

First gun/first shotgun: A Stevens single shot 20ga. Still have it up at the parents' weekend place.

First rifle: Remington Nylon 66. Still have it, minus the front sight.

First pistol: An Astra A-80 in .45 ACP. Also the first gun I bought myself. Traded it and some cash for my...

First centerfire rifle: A sporterized Enfield M-1917 with a 3-9 power scope. Bought it right before the Gulf War because I figured that if things went pear-shaped, it might be a good idea to have something with which to make venison. Gave it to one of my housemates in leiu of my last month's rent.

First revolver: Taurus Model 65. Sold to a buddy to help finance my return to New Orleans from Santa Fe.

First gun was my Remington Sure Shot .22 rifle inherited from my grandfather and stolen by a scumbag named Niel who is going to get the beatdown of his life if we ever cross paths again.

First Handgun was my Browning Hi Power FEG clone made in Hungary on Browning equipment.

First Shotgun was an 870 sold off when I needed cash years ago.
