I can conceal a commander-length 1911 easier than a 2-inch snubby, probably because the 1911 is narrower (especially with slim-line grips.
When I carried a J-frame .38, it was as obvious as rat turds in a sugar bowl, no matter how I carried it. (And this was important when I lived in a place that didn't allow concealed carry.) Finally gave up, and went with the 1911 full time.
Wound up giving the J-frame to The Darlin' Daughter on her 18th birthday, because that was what she wanted for a graduation gift. She usually carries it in a purse, or in a jacket pocket, depending on the weather.

Usually I carry my Rohrbaugh.
A Seecamp is a great choice though.
Personally I keep thinking about getting one, having some silver grips made for it/perhaps steel, then sending it off for an engraving job

Just had two guys in the gun store. PRINTING like crazy. No clue they were super printing and most likely do it all the time and no one calls them on it.

Re: Mouseguns
Noted to my wife this weekend while we were out that my q-strap makes the 1911 print a bit more when the camera hangs down past it. However, with where my elbow hangs and the fact that there's a big honkin dSLR hanging on a strap, people always stare at the camera. And as soon as I pick the camera up to use it, the shoulder strap doesn't hang on the gun anymore, and the printing goes away.

My sons gave crap for a long time about the "gay" looking oversized cell phone holder I often keep on my belt, i eventually realized that they had no idea I was using it to carry my LC9.

There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

A couple of years ago, I got a Polish Makarov for my birthday,(Thanks, Tom!). When I finally break down and get a CCW, that's what I'll carry.

Waist and ankle, or waist and opposite pocket. A lot of these guns aren't super-fast to reload.skb12172 wrote:Elaborate please!Mike OTDP wrote:There's a case for carrying two mouseguns with different carry systems.
