If you have the time and money, I've heard everyone who goes to Knob Creek (Kentucky) has an INCREDIBLE time! I'm sure you can find plenty of videos on YouTube of people shooting there.
last i heard was that it is so commercialized now that if you arent 8 to 10 hours early, you arent shooting

Search the Intarweb for "diagnostic target".
Buy ammunition and magazines.

You'll shoot your eye out!

Another blog.

Probably the best online source of shooting information is the Hitchiker's Guide to Shooting Glory at www.pilkguns.com

Read. Learn. Apply. Repeat.

You'll get good results.

I checked the diagnostic target after I was in the States. At my second range trip there I was hitting high an left with the .357 revolver, so I wanted to know the reason.
Problem now is that with the .22 I dont really have any tendancy in any specific direction, if anything the shots are spread out horisontally, with the odd flyer up or down. Which leads me to thinking it's sight alignment and trigger control.

I've read through www.pilkguns.com, and it is a great source. :) I think I'll print it out so I can have it handy too. I've been googling around the web, and searching forums, for any tip I can find, it's never a bad thing to read up as much as possible on what you're trying to learn.

If it was a tight group and consistent, adjust the sights.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

i would only recommend that if you were shooting benched for the group.

I think if you talk to Range Masters, you'll find most people don't shoot benched well, and besides, when you NEED to use the gun, you're not going to be benched (although hopefully you'll be behind cover).

ok, but how do you tell how the sights are set if your own arms and hands are working against you in sighting the gun in?

If your groups are consistent then you're shooting to the sights, if you're shooting high and right consistently then move the sights a few clicks left. I'm not sure if revolver sights adjust vertically or not. But think of it like sighting in a scope, without the magnification.
