My P32 didn't like the Buffalo Bore .32acp; the OAL is shorter than FMJ loads, and it rim-locked on me at the range, along with a couple other malfunctions. I know there's a fix for rim-lock, but the fix means that most FMJ won't fit in the magazine. I have no feeding problems with FMJ, especially the Euro loads; the Euro loads tend to run a little hotter than American SAAMI spec loads.

Likely yes.

I have regularly carried my 3" barreled 1911 in shorts (with a belt) and a t-shirt. My wife occasionally has to ask if I'm carrying since she can't tell, even though she knows right were the gun is / should be. If I have to have ZERO chance someone will know, I go with the S&W Bodyguard .380. I've carried that in [place redacted], where getting found out could have been really bad juju... and nobody was the wiser. The biggest thing is getting a holster that's comfortable, and which you don't have to adjust when you get into/out of vehicles. If it stays put and is comfortable, NO ONE will know.

I don't, but if I did, I have two J-frame S&W snubbies, one each in blued and stainless, plus I put an "airweight" on layaway atthe gunshop last visit. I like the idea of a revolver for callry much, use little. If I needed a pistol, my Walther PP is pretty small and neat.

Here in Belgium, real mouseguns are very common - unfortunately not as carry pieces, but as pieces that were commonly carried once upon a time before the law took an interest in what genteel people have in their pockets. You can get an old baby Browning in nice condition for 50 bucks in any gunshop, and there are lots of other tiny carry pistols about. There used to be a great site called www.tinygun.be which showed a large collection of pocket pistols, but, alas, it seems to have dropped off the 'net.

CorBon and Federal JHP run fine in my Beretta.

I'm still using Kahr's holster for the PM9, which has the square leather flap that sits between the gun and the outside of your pocket. Even if you do print, it looks like a wallet. I haven't seen any other pocket holsters that have this, but there might be others out there. The only way someone can really tell what's in my pocket is if they know what the Snagmag is in my other pocket, and to most people that looks like the top of a pocket knife.

Quoted for truth. I've regularly taken off my IWB and put it back on at the gym with people within 10' who were none the wiser.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

But what I carry most is an NAA Mini-Magnum in 22wmr.
That's a mousegun. And the high performance Speer and Hornady ammo makes it useful.
My NAA is in .22LR, but it is a backup to my Taurus 85 in .38spcl or my SCCY in 9mm. When I can't carry one or the other, it is still in my pocket as a primary.

Go out sometime with the express purpose of people watching. You will see this is shockingly true. Correction, the shocking part is when you catch someone scanning and assessing you the way you do everyone else, because it is so rare.

That's been my experience

Some relevant articles I came up with a quick search:

One cop writes how he spots concealed weapons. Note he puts or more emphasis on body language and other tells as he does on actually spotting a weapon.

another perspective, and not that a lot of it is how a person is acting, not what/how they are carrying

And one supposedly from the NYFC PD. Again, looking more at external tells, not printing. Several of them obviously assume a criminal who is not wearing a proper holster/belt.

I'm a firm proponent of using a proper holster (and it make take a while to find the right one, and you may need a different one for different modes of dress, etc.) as that helps conceal the pistol without external bulges that are obviously guns (as opposed to wallets, cell phone cases, etc., which the casual mundane will assume, because that's what they would be carrying).

Having confidence it's secure keeps you from checking/touching it which is often a big giveaway. Example, my Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster, I can tell it's there simply by press my upper arm against my body, which I think a majority of people would never notice, even if looking for it. But it's comfortable enough that I'm not constantly adjusting it.

And this is when carrying a full sized weapon such as my Browning Hi-Power
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

I have a couple of short barreled revolvers, but no mouse guns per se. I did get to shoot an LCP two weeks ago, some sort of upgraded version with more prominent sights and a red anodized trigger. At five yards it was hitting a foot to the left of where I was aiming.

I've been a bit curious about the newish LCR in .327 mag. Ammo's still too dear for me, though.
