I'm not sure on the receiver, I thought the differences on the Norincos were just stamped or milled. The one I'm refering to is milled.
And yeah, the Gunco.net won't let me in.
Oh, then you'll need a different block than the one I linked, that was a stamped block. Here are a couple of milled blocks:

http://riflestocks.com/store/page12.html

And this is from the first post in that thread on Gunco; there is a lot of good info and discussion in that thread but I guess you'd have to register:
The 16 countable parts in a stamped AK with a muzzle device.
(1) Receiver
(2) Barrel*
(3) Trunnion*
(4) Muzzle attachments
(5) Bolt*
(6) Bolt carrier*
(7) Gas piston
(8) Trigger
(9) Hammer
(10) Disconnecter
(11) Buttstock
(12) Pistol grip
(13) Forearm handguards
(14) Magazine body*
(15) Follower
(16) Floorplate
To the best of my knowledge, the 5 parts marked with the * are only available Imported.
No more than 10 of the parts on this list, may be Imported, the rest must be of US mfg.
Note that the info is a little out of date, you can now get US made barrels and magazine bodies. But magazine parts are considered sub optimal for compliance, and an AK barrel change is not for the faint of heart. And since your milled gun doesn't have a trunnion, you have to come up with one less US part in order to convert.

Thanks for the well-wishes.

Also, now that I know I can mark the stocks as being US made and not have it look like total crap, I'm planning to do that with all of my existing inventory, and of course, all subsequent batches. In order to maintain my quality standards, this is going to require a full refinish of each stock, which I'm not going to be able to do immediately.

Until I get them done, I'm going to be running a special for Guncounter members only, where if you buy one of the non-US marked stocks, I'll knock $10 off the price. These stocks are still US made, and are fully 922r compliant in every way, except people feel better when 922r parts are indelibly marked, even though it really doesn't make any difference. This special is only good for Guncounter members, and ends once the non-marked stocks are either all gone, or have all had "USA" stamped into them and have been refinished. It's also fine with me if somebody signs up on the forum for the sole purpose of getting in on the special, although if it isn't somebody I recognize, I'll probably have them post something in this thread just to verify that they are a member.

That's very nice of you, 'Net. And thanks for all the info. I'll probably go ahead and bling out the Norinco in the near future.
However, if I ever have to use this AK for the reason it was purchased, 922r compliance will be the least of any concerns.

I have one of the stocks too and it is a doozy. I like it better than the ACE I found I had purchased months ago. Which is OK as I have two shotguns to put them on!

This is a real high quality piece of work and as soon as I get it mounted I will post a range report.

That profile of the wolverine looks like a cross between a coon and a badger. If it has the nastier aspects of both critters, it's like picking a fight with a pair of chainsaws with extra long bark teeth. There will be blood.

Are wolverine attacks covered by your stocks warranty?

If you are going to use it to attack somebody, I would just as soon you buy your stock elsewhere. ;)
