Probably being an SEC guy, I may have slipped some Big 10 humor past you.

Seriously though, there isn't much more I despise than U of M.

Well, I placed the order for the barrel today. I have a 16" Stainless ordered from MDWS.

seeing as I don't have a ton of disposable assets, I don't already own one. If I had more money, I'd already give you an AAR. Seems like a great play toy / hunting round to me.

Maybe I just like overkill, but if I were hunting hogs with an AR-15 I'd chamber it in .458 SOCOM.

Just got in the Charging Handel for my build. I didn't want to go with a standard CH so I ordered a Strike Industries ARCH-EL Charging Handle.
For $30 it's not a bad looking CH.

I have an upper and 15" hand rail on the way.

The barrel also arrived and I picked up a 5/8-24 three prong flash hider and crush washer.

:jacked: Meaning no disrespect, but even as a Buckeye fan I have never hated Michigan (never hated the Steelers either, as a lifelong Browns fan, and by lifelong I mean back to the Blanton Collier era). There are some SEC teams I have little use for, but the archrival has always been the honored enemy (to borrow from John Wayne) or the "gallant foe worthy of our steel" (Churchill) to me.

I want Michigan to go 11-1 every year.

The Upper came in yesterday. It's a Billet upper by DAVIDSON DEFENSE

I got all the parts in to build the rifle. My son said he wants to help me build it so I have been waiting the last to days for him to get home.

I did change my mind on the upper receiver. I'm just going to use a standard one because, the right rear side of the Davidson Defense upper didn't match up good with a standard lower.

Very interesting... if it catches on and one or more of the big names starts making ammo for it, I'd be all over one.
