Hmm! Not as handsome as my FN49, but big detachable magazines, and it would certainly scare the hoplophobes...!

Seriously, they are great rifles. For my money, nicer to handle than a Garand. Not much else to say, except that you might need to fiddle around a bit with setting the gas port to suit your choice of ammunition. The trick is to use enough gas that you get reliable operation, but not so much that the mechanism is flogging itself to death. If you're going to reload your brass, full-length sizing is probably a good idea.

Yeah we do and small block Chevys and Ford 300 straight sixes and...
Ain't gotta be old. 06 is the go-to. But I like my engines horizontally opposed.
